New to our operation, in an effort to allow more guests access to the beauty of the west Texas outdoors, we are now offering custom retreats. Our lodge at the Cargile S Ranch can handle up to 16 with 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. A beautiful west Texas setting under a grand Live Oak tree allows individuals or small groups spend the evenings sitting around the firepit or just hanging out at the lodge. Satellite TV and central air/heat give you some of the comforts of home. Catering and pantry stocking are two options for meals. We can have it cooked or you can cook it yourself. (All natural, grassfed beef is available on request.) We provide clean sheets, towels, and all the kitchen utensils and dishes you need. A washer and dryer is also in place for your use if needed. Rugged beauty along with comfortable accommodations makes the lodge a great place to bring your staff and get away without leaving behind the essentials for planning and team building if you choose to have some sort of group retreat.

Beautiful scenery on a working cattle operation, bird watching, hiking, nature photography, close encounters with wildlife and custom ranch tours are all some of the options we offer in addition to just plain old relaxing in nature.
